Nano Technology Experts (the study of manipulating the mass of an atomic and molecular scale) have demonstrated the world's smallest Christmas card. So small by more than 8,000 small cards that can fit if placed on a stamp.

The card is made at the University of Glasgow. Said to be the smallest in the world and can not be seen with the naked eye. Programs School of Engineeering of the campus that makes the design. Similarly, as quoted from the IET, Saturday (25/12/2010).

"Our Nano Technology is one of the best in the world. Smallest Christmas cards can also show the world what this technology can do. This process only takes 30 minutes. The process of the design was the one who takes a lot of time," said Professor David Cumming .

"This card is 200 micro-meter width and length of 290 micro-meters. You can meet the standard A5 card to 500,000 small cards," added Cummings.

For the coloring card is done by a process called 'plasmon resonance' in aluminum foil film made in the James Watt Nanofabrication Centre, University of Glasgow.

Parties to the University of Glasgow said that Nano technology is very important its application in the real world in the future.
